JHARKHAND: FORMER CHIEF MINISTER AND THE JHARKHAND MUKTI SUPREMO , SHIBU SOREN WAS ADMITTED TO MEDANTA HOSPITAL IN RANCHI ON THURSDAY

Shibu is one of the founder of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha - the movement for separating jharkhand from Bihar .

Shibu is a member of indigenous minorities officially classified as Scheduled Tribes.The 79 year old leader has served as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand thrice between 2005 and 2010. And now his son is the Chief Minister and they both recently attended the rally held in Jharkhand by the Mukti Morcha . During the rally , the leader addressed about issues related to better education and agriculture policies .

​The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha was formed in 1973 as a movement to bifurcate Jharkhand out of the state of Bihar . The JMM has remained an influential political party in Bihar .
