NDA’s presidential nominee Droupadi Murmu today visited Jharkhand where she met Mukti Morcha chief Shibu Soren and state’s chief minister Hemant Soren.
The visit came days ahead of the presidential election slated to be held on July 18. Murmu went there to garner support from JMM of the state. Union Minister Arjun Munda was also present at the occasion when Murmu met JMM chief Shibu Soren.
Also, apart from Jharkhand, Murmu is also scheduled to Patna tomorrow Tuesday, July 5. There she will seek the support of Bihar’s MPs and MLAs for the prez elections.
The BJP leader Jibesh Kumar Mishra on Monday said that Murmu will visit Bihar at 10 am and will leave for her next destination at 1.30 pm.
