Political turmoil in Maharashtra: CM Uddhav Thackeray to speak on political tumult through Facebook Live

As the Maharashtra government is grappling with a political crisis, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is eyeing to address his state through social media, Facebook Live at 5 pm today, June 22. As per the anticipations, the CM will talk about the current tumultuous political condition of Maharashtra.


Earlier today, it was revealed that Uddhav Thackeray had tested positive for Covid-19. The information was disseminated by senior Congress leader Kamal Nath. The Congress leader said that he was expecting to meet the CM but due to Thackeray testing positive the meeting could be arranged. 


Kamal Nath also asserted that his party will stand with the Maharashtra government in the tough times and have no plans of taking back their support to the Thackeray-led government. 


Shiv Sena’s senior leader Eknath Shinde rebelled against his party and claimed that he has 46 MLAs with him to topple the government in Maharashtra. Shinde turned antagonist for his party over the Hindutva ideology as he claims that Shiv Sena has compromised with its principles for political gains.
