The Congress party's ongoing 'Bharat Jodo Yatra,' led by Rahul Gandhi, is due to reach Maharashtra on Monday after crossing five states in south India for over two months. However, there is still uncertainty over Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackery's involvement in Rahul Gandhi's Yatra. According to sources, the Yatra would arrive in the evening at Madnur Naka in Nanded district, bordering Telangana, party leaders said here on Sunday.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which began on September 7 and has covered over 500 kilometres through five southern states (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana), will reach Maharashtra on November 9th, the 61st day of the yatra.

The Telangana leg of the 'Padyatra' commenced this morning from Fathalpur Bus Stand in the Kamareddy district, with intentions to stop at Shekhapur. The Yatra is then slated to begin a public meeting from Menoor in Kamareddy about 5.00 pm before entering Maharashtra later that evening.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra ended its 60-day march on Sunday. Jairam Ramesh, a senior Congress lawmaker, tweeted a video with the description, "“60 days filled with love! A perfect milestone to celebrate this journey of uniting India. Many more to come.”

However, the Congress Party's candidate Palvai Sravanthi lost the hotly contested Munugode bypolls in Telangana on Sunday, while Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra was in the state.

During its 14-day journey through Maharashtra, the Yatra will traverse 385 kilometres and 15 Assembly and 6 parliamentary seats. Following the welcoming ceremony, the yatra will resume at 10.10 p.m., with participants carrying "Ekta Mashals" (Unity Torches). After midnight, the marchers will halt at a gurdwara in Deglur, where they will spend the night in the Chidravar Mill. The yatra will continue on November 8 at 8:30 a.m.
