Saif Stabbing Case: CM Devendra Fadnavis urges clarity

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said that no confusion should be created regarding the Saif Ali Khan stabbing incident.

Speaking to the media about the Saif Ali Khan attack case, he said, "I speak clearly. I want to tell the media that unconfirmed events and unsaid by the Mumbai police should not be repeatedly shown. It is not proper to create confusion in this way."

"In this case, the police are properly conducting an investigation. Police have almost everything related to the case. Police will take this case to its logical conclusion. And for your convenience, (media), our Mumbai Commissioner of Police is here; I will ask him, today or tomorrow or any day, to give you full details of the case,” he added.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Police has collected Saif Ali Khan's blood sample and clothes for investigation in the Saif Ali Khan attack case.

Earlier this month, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad who had entered his house to commit theft. After a fight with the accused, Saif Ali Khan got stabbed in his thoracic spine and other parts of the body.

Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital.

On Wednesday, Mumbai Police found several fingerprints of the accused at Saif Ali Khan's Bandra residence. Police found the accused's fingerprints on the stairs of the building, on the door of the toilet and on the door handle of his son Jeh's room.

According to police, the accused had tried to enter three houses before reaching Saif Ali Khan's residence to commit theft. Police believes the found fingerprints will be helpful in the investigation.
