TELANGANA'S CHIEF MINISTER K CHANDRASHEKHAR RAO LAUNCHES NATIONAL PARTY, RENAMING THE TRS TO "BHARAT RASHTRA SAMITHI

Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhar Rao renamed his party on Wednesday and unveiled his "national political foray" strategy. Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has replaced Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) (BRS). In the General Body Meeting, it was decided to change the name of TRS to BRS.

Mahmood Ali, the Telangana Home Minister, has stated that the party flag will still feature the vehicle emblem but will now feature the contour of the Indian subcontinent. Guests for the significant Dussehra event included Thol Thirumavalavan and HD Kumaraswamy, the former chief minister of Karnataka.

Thirumavalavan stated on his Twitter account that he is in Hyderabad at Rao's invitation for the BRS launch. He commended Rao for making an attempt to focus on the federal level. The VCK is a partner of Tamil Nadu's ruling party, the DMK.

The Election Commission's notification of the schedule for the Munugode by-election in Telangana and Rao's decision to step up his political campaign against the BJP are timed to perfection. Votes would be counted on November 6 after voting, which is set for November 3.

The BJP became a major player in the 2020 civic elections in Hyderabad and won Assembly seats in by-elections held in areas like Huzurabad. To increase the party's presence in the southern regions of the nation, the BJP officials have been intensely concentrating on Telangana.

A Warangal-based party leader gave chickens and alcohol to 200 TRS employees to celebrate the holiday season and wish KCR luck in his effort to expand beyond Telangana.

TRS would emphasise welfare programmes being implemented in Telangana, such as the "Dalit Bandhu" and "Rythu Bandhu" farmer support schemes, in its outreach campaign (Rs 10 lakh grant to every Dalit household to start any business or trade).
