Trump gives Iran two months to reach new deal, otherwise tough action!

US President Donald Trump is not willing to delay stopping Iran any longer. In a letter to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, offering to negotiate a new nuclear deal, he made it clear that Iran has two months to reach a deal.

According to sources, Trump has said that he wants to make a deal to impose more controls on Iran's nuclear capabilities. Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff delivered the letter to UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan while in Abu Dhabi last week. The UAE later handed the letter over to the Iranians.

It is learned that President Trump has made it clear to Ayatollah Khamenei that he wants to resolve the dispute over Iran's nuclear program diplomatically and very quickly. And if that is not possible, other measures will have to be taken to resolve the dispute. US National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes said this in a statement to CNN.

It is known that Trump also discussed a possible nuclear deal with Iran during a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. The two leaders agreed that Iran should never be allowed to have the power to destroy Israel.

Earlier, Trump told a news outlet that "there are two ways to deal with Iran - either you make a deal or you make a military one. I would prefer to make a deal, because I don't want to hurt Iran."

Iran has already said that it will not negotiate with the United States under any threat. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran will not negotiate with the United States under any threat. Pezeshkian, referring to President Donald Trump, said, "Do whatever you want."

But why is Trump trying to negotiate with Iran? What about Iran's nuclear weapons development? In fact, in May last year, a secret report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated that Iran has advanced its work on enriching uranium that can be used to make nuclear weapons much further than before. As a result, they are believed to be close to making nuclear weapons. The IAEA report states that uranium needs to be enriched up to 90 percent to make weapons. Iran has already enriched uranium to 60 percent purity. As of May 11, 2024, Iran has 142.1 kg of enriched uranium, which is 20.6 kg more than the previous time.

Although Iran has repeatedly claimed that its nuclear program has been undertaken for peaceful purposes. However, the Western world complains that there is no logical reason to enrich uranium to a higher level for civilian purposes. In this situation, if Iran does not sit down for direct talks about its nuclear program, it is not clear how the United States will react. However, US officials are not ruling out the possibility of possible military action by the United States or Israel in Iran's nuclear fields in the future.

However, Khamenei recently said that Trump's purpose is not to negotiate or solve problems, but to bully or dominate others.
