Udhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena has received another blow as around 66 corporators of Thane Municipal Corporation have joined Eknath Shinde camp. For last three days Shiv Sena leaders were tirelessly trying to contact these councillors and office bearers but all in vain as their phone were switched off.
The joining of these councillors the Shinde faction will lead to the end of Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena in Thane.
Today, July 7, Thane’s Shiv Sena chief and former mayor Naresh Mhaske openly untied his association with Uddhav Thackeray and extended his support to Eknath Shinde.
Also, majority of Shiv Sainiks in Kalyan-Dombivali,Ulhasnagar and Ambernath are reportedly switching sides and have decided to support Eknath Shinde.
