Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has appealed to voters in West Bengal to participate freely in the ongoing elections and vote without fear or hesitation, stressing the importance of choosing “progress and democratic values.”
In a statement shared during the election phase, Kharge urged citizens to come out in large numbers and exercise their democratic rights confidently. He said that voting is not just a right but also a responsibility to shape the future of governance and development in the state.
Kharge emphasised that elections should be conducted in a peaceful and fair manner, allowing every voter to make their choice without pressure or intimidation.
