“OUR HEARTS ARE WITH INDIA” US PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN OFFERS DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILIES OF MORBI

In response to the Morbi bridge collapse disaster in Gujarat, US  President Joe Biden sent his sympathies on Monday.


Joe Biden, expressed grief at the deaths caused by the Morbi Bridge incident. "Jill and I send our deepest condolences to the families who lost loved ones during the bridge collapse in India, and join the people of Gujarat in mourning the loss of too many lives cut short. In this difficult hour, we will continue to stand with and support the Indian people", Biden tweeted.


Furthermore, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed his sincere sympathies to the victims and their families for their loss as a result of the collapse of a suspension bridge in Morbi, Gujarat.


US Vice President Kamala Harris also expressed her condolences on the tragedy and said, "Our hearts are with those who lost loved ones and all those impacted."


In response to the sad Morbi event in Gujarat, the prime minister of Canada also conveyed his sorrow. In a tweet, Trudeau said, "My heart goes out to the people of India today, as recovery efforts continue following yesterday's tragic bridge collapse. We're wishing a full recovery to the injured, and we're keeping the loved ones of the victims in our thoughts during this difficult time."


Penny Wong, the foreign minister of Australia, also offered her sympathies to India and showed her support for the families of the deceased. "Australia sends our thoughts to the loved ones of those killed, and to the people of India, following the bridge collapse in Gujarat. Our sincere condolences to all those affected by this tragic event," she wrote on Twitter.


According to the most recent figures, 140 people have died as a result of the accident as of Monday. According to Harsh Sanghavi, the home minister for Gujarat, a criminal case has been filed in connection with the occurrence.
