POPE TALLKS ABOUT 'VICE THAT SO MANY PEOPLE HAVEN'; SAYS EVEN PRIESTS AND NUNS WATCH PORN

Online pornography has dangers, according to Pope Francis, who described it as a temptation that "weakens the priestly heart." Pope Francis stated that the best use of social media and digital technology is to "share the joy of being Christians" when replying to a wide range of inquiries from priests and seminarians studying in Rome.

Additionally, the pope cautioned against excessive news consumption and work-distracting music.

"And on this (subject) there's also another thing, which you know well: digital pornography," Pope Francis said.

"Each of you think if you've had the experience or had the temptation of digital pornography. It's a vice that so many people have, so many laymen, so many lay women, and even priests and nuns," Pope Francis added.

And I'm not only referring to child abuse pornography, where you can see actual abuse happening; that's already degeneracy. Of the more mainstream pornography, though, Pope Francis kept going.

The pope previously ruled that pornography should be classified as a "danger to public health" in June, calling it "a permanent attack on the dignity of men and women".

"The devil enters from there: it weakens the priestly heart. Excuse me for going down to these details about pornography, but there is a reality: a reality that touches priests, seminarians, nuns, consecrated souls," he had said.
