CM Adityanath is currently on a visit to his hometown Pauri, in Uttarakhand. There he visited his ancestral village for the hair tonsure ceremony of his nephew, which is scheduled for today, May 4. As per the reports, it is after 28 years that Yogi Adityanath has returned to Uttarakhand to attend a family function.

In April 2020, the UP CM could not make it to attend his father’s funeral due to the Covid-19 pandemic. "I had the ardent wish to get a glimpse of my father at the final moment. The Chief Minister also unveiled a statue of his spiritual guru Mahant Avaidyanath at Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Government College in his home district.
