BSF Prevents Terrorist Attack by Foiling Infiltration in Samba Sector

Border Security Force personnel successfully thwarted an intrusion attempt at the Samba sector situated in Jammu and Kashmir. This event occurred late at night when BSF troops observed movements of a dubious nature around the border adjacent to Pakistan.

The men trying to slyly cross the aforementioned border heard Indian soldiers coming towards them in no time and thereby prompting the latter to take an immediate and proper course. BSF personnel put to use their training and equipment to prevent the intruders from entering the Indian area. The situation was dealt with a lot of caution and the miscreants had to withdraw.

Samba sector is a critical part of International Border and, thus, the same similar attempts have been witnessed in the past as well. The security forces are always on high alert in this region to ward off any possible crossings or threats to security.

Nobody was injured or killed in the course of the operation owing to the concerted and prompt action of the BSF personnel. The persisting forces will continue to monitor the area to prevent such other intrusions.
