Drug Abuse Awareness Programme Organized at Wadder Bala

Wadder Bala, Kupwara:- A Drug Abuse Awareness Programme was conducted today at Wadder Bala Panchayat, following the directives of the Worthy District Magistrate Kupwara. The initiative, held under the supervision of Tehsildar Zachaldara Syed Basharat Rasool, aimed to educate the public about the dangers of drug abuse and preventive measures.

Tehsildar Zachaldara Syed Basharat Rasool emphasized the critical need for such awareness programs, particularly in safeguarding the youth from the harmful effects of substance abuse. Other key speakers, including the CHO Medical Block Zachaldara, Incharge Police Post Zachaldara, and Anchor Shr Mudasir Bashir Sofi, shared insightful perspectives on the risks of drug addiction and strategies for prevention.

The event marked a significant step toward fostering a drug-free society by spreading awareness and encouraging responsible decision-making for better health and well-being.
