Dry, Cloudy Weather to Continue in J&K Till November 3

The weather across Jammu and Kashmir is expected to remain largely dry and partly cloudy until November 3, according to the Meteorological Centre in Srinagar. The latest forecast indicates that conditions from October 25 to 27 will stay dry and mildly cloudy, creating favourable circumstances for outdoor and agricultural activities across the region.

On October 28, the weather is likely to change slightly as skies turn generally cloudy, bringing chances of light rainfall in some areas and light snowfall over isolated higher reaches. Following this brief spell, the region is expected to experience mainly dry and partly cloudy conditions from October 29 through the end of the month.

The dry pattern is forecast to extend into early November, with similar conditions expected from November 1 to 3. This continued stability in weather provides an advantage for ongoing agricultural operations, particularly in the valley where farmers have been benefiting from the dry spell.

The Meteorological Department has urged residents and farmers to make the most of the favourable weather window before the onset of colder conditions expected in the following weeks. Although the possibility of light snowfall in higher reaches may bring a brief drop in temperatures, no significant weather disturbances are anticipated during this period.

Overall, the Union Territory is likely to experience calm and stable weather over the next several days, with no major rain or snow activity expected until early November.
