Ehsaas Foundation organised a spiritually uplifting Mehfil-e-Malood-e-Kaaba (AS) on Monday evening to mark the auspicious Wiladat of Maula-e-Qayinaat, Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from religious scholars, poets, social activists, journalists and devotees, creating an atmosphere of devotion and reverence.
According to a press release, the programme was gracefully hosted by Musadiq Alam, who conducted the proceedings with warmth, dignity and decorum, ensuring a smooth and engaging flow throughout the mehfil. His hosting added to the spiritual charm of the gathering.
The Mehfil was graced by Bashir Dada, a renowned personality, as the Chief Guest, while Riyaz Masroor, senior journalist associated with the BBC, and Molana Hameed-ul-Nayeemi attended as guests of honour. Their presence added intellectual and spiritual depth to the event.
The programme began with a soulful Tilawat-e-Qur’an by Mohammad Hafiz Qur’an Shareef, setting a serene tone for the evening. This was followed by Naat Shareef beautifully recited by Sahil Fayaz, which deeply resonated with the audience.
Devotional Manqabat in praise of Hazrat Ali (AS) were eloquently presented by Mohammad Abbas, Mohsin Ali, and Ahmad Raza, whose heartfelt renditions moved the gathering and created a spiritually charged atmosphere.
Speakers highlighted the timeless teachings, courage, justice and piety of Hazrat Ali (AS), urging people to imbibe his values in their daily lives. The event concluded with collective prayers for peace, harmony and unity.
