Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor once again proved why fans love her easygoing wit. Amid ongoing speculation about her relationship with screenwriter Rahul Mody, the actress gave a light-hearted reply to a fan who asked about her marriage plans sparking fresh conversations online.
On January 6, Shraddha shared a promotional video for her jewellery brand on Instagram. In the video, she humorously discussed how a large number of breakups reportedly happen around Valentine’s Day, playfully analysing possible reasons before cheekily encouraging viewers to buy gift boxes and stay happily coupled during the “season of love.”
While the video itself drew attention, it was the comments section that truly caught fans’ eyes. A user asked her directly, “Shaadi kab karoge, Shraddha ji?” Responding in her signature fun style, the actress replied, “Main karoongi, you vivah karoongi” (I will get married), a witty wordplay that instantly went viral and delighted her followers.
Shraddha Kapoor and Rahul Mody have been at the centre of dating rumours for some time now. Although neither has officially confirmed the relationship, the two have been spotted together on several occasions, and Shraddha has shared glimpses of moments with him on social media, further fuelling speculation.
On the professional front, Shraddha is enjoying a strong phase in her career. She was last seen in the blockbuster horror-comedy Stree 2 alongside Rajkummar Rao, which performed exceptionally well at the box office. She also lent her voice to Judy Hopps in the Hindi version of Zootopia 2.
Looking ahead, the actress has an exciting lineup that includes Naagin, the Tumbbad prequel Pahadpangira, and potential sequels like Stree 3 and Bhediya 2. She is also reportedly set to appear in Eetha, a biographical drama based on Marathi folk artist Vithabai Narayangaonkar.
