Five Injured in Qazigund Road Mishap

Kulgam, April 4 – At least five people were injured in a road accident in the Mirbazar area of Qazigund, located in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, on Friday morning.

According to an official, the accident occurred when a vehicle lost control and crashed into a divider near Mirbazar on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway. The injured individuals were promptly rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, where their conditions were reported to be stable.

The injured persons have been identified as:1.Nusrat, wife of Mohd Jabar Kasina, aged 40 years, from Bakerwal Chack, Qazigund. 2.Sirat Jan, daughter of Mohd Jabir Kasina, aged 9 years, from Bakerwal Chack, Qazigund. 3.Sajjad Ahmad, son of Manzoor Ahmad, aged 19 years, from Bakerwal Chack, Qazigund. 4.Azraar, son of Mohd Khalid, aged 14 years, from Bakerwal Chack, Qazigund. 5.Abrar, son of Mohd Jabir, aged 13 years, from Bakerwal Chack, Qazigund.

The police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigations are underway.
