KULGAM POLICE ORGANISE "UNITY RUN" IN THE LOVING MEMORY OF POLICE MARTYRS.

KULGAM,28TH OCTOBER, 2025:As part of the ongoing Police Flag Day Week–2025; District Police Kulgam today organised a “Run For Unity” from Sanguspora Crossing to DPL Kulgam to pay heartfelt tribute to the brave police martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

The event was flagged off by DySP DAR Kulgam Shri Mohd Ayub Rather, symbolising solidarity and collective spirit. A large number of school students, youth, and police personnel took part in the event with great enthusiasm and patriotic zeal.

At the culmination point in DPL Kulgam, the atmosphere was filled with excitement as the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position holders were felicitated with Cash Prizes for their outstanding performance and other participants with certificates of appreciation to boost their morale.

Speaking on the occasion, *SSP Kulgam Shri Anayat Ali Chowdhary-IPS* lauded the active participation of the youth and highlighted the importance of such events in fostering unity, discipline, and physical fitness. He also urged the participants, especially the younger generation, to stay away from negative influences such as drug addiction and to channel their energy toward positive and constructive pursuits.

He emphasized that the Unity Run not only commemorates the sacrifices of police martyrs but also strengthens the bond between the police and the community, inspiring collective efforts towards peace and progress.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment to uphold the values of sacrifice, service, and unity, the very ideals that define the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
