Kulgam Police Organises Cultural, Band Show and Exhibition Programmes to Honour Martyrs for Their Supreme Sacrifice

Kulgam, October 28, 2025:In a heartfelt tribute to the brave police martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty, Kulgam Police, under the ongoing Police Flag Day Week–2025, organised a series of cultural, band show and exhibition programmes across the district.

To inculcate the spirit of patriotism and highlight the valour of the fallen heroes, an Exhibition Programme was held at District Police Lines (DPL) Kulgam, where documentaries showcasing the courage and sacrifice of police martyrs were screened for students from various schools of the district.

A Cultural Programme was also organised at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kulgam, featuring a range of captivating performances by students, celebrating the bravery and dedication of the Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel.

As part of the week-long observance, Band Shows were conducted near Clock Tower Kulgam and the main market Qazigund, where the Kulgam Police Band performed patriotic tunes, enthralling the audience and paying homage to the martyrs. These events not only commemorated the supreme sacrifices of the bravehearts but also promoted unity and community bonding.

DySP Headquarters Kulgam, Shri Nisar Ahmad (JKPS), and DySP DAR Kulgam, Shri Muhammad Ayub Rather and SHO Kulgam Subzar Ahmad graced the occasion and felicitated participating students with appreciation certificates to encourage their enthusiasm and patriotism.

Kulgam Police extended heartfelt gratitude to all participants, students, and school administrations for their cooperation and contribution in making the events a grand success.
