Budgam, Nov 16: Several people are feared dead after a tragic collision between two vehicles in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district late Saturday evening.
According to an official, the accident occurred at Waterwani on the Budgam Ring Road when a dumper collided with a Sumo passenger vehicle, resulting in multiple fatalities on the spot. The exact number of casualties is yet to be confirmed.
Locals and passersby immediately rushed to the site and began evacuating the injured, shifting them to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and efforts are underway to ascertain the identities of the deceased and injured.
