Rajouri Road Mishap: Three BSF Troopers Injured

In Rajouri, three Border Security Force troopers were injured in a road accident on Wednesday. The accident happened when a vehicle with BSF personnel lost control and overturned because of the slippery road conditions near Chingus.

Local sources information said the BSF vehicle was on routine patrol when the driver seemingly lost control, causing the vehicle to skid off the road. Eyewitnesses mentioned that the accident was attributed to the region experiencing wet and uneven terrain, which has become a bane for commuters.

Soon after the accident, the locals and other security personnel rushed to the spot to provide assistance. The injured troopers were immediately shifted to the nearest hospital for medical treatment. The doctors at the hospital confirmed that while serious, all three personnel were in stable condition and under the required medical attention.

The officials have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident. Preliminary reports suggest that recent rains may have left the roads slippery and caused the accident.

Meanwhile, the authorities have asked drivers, mainly the ones driving security and military vehicles, to be extra cautious in hilly and rugged terrains.

This accident reflects the challenges faced by security forces posted in difficult terrains, where unpredictable weather conditions and bad road problems lead to such accidents. The troopers of the BSF continue to be very important in securing the border areas, though the nature of their work is inherently risky.

Further on the condition of the injured personnel and the BSF's official statements are awaited.
