RKS/HDF Meeting Held at District Hospital Kulgam under Chairmanship of Hon’ble MLA Shri M.Y. Tarigami

Kulgam, April 15, 2025:

A meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) and Hospital Development Fund (HDF) was convened today at District Hospital Kulgam under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble MLA Kulgam, Shri M.Y. Tarigami.

The meeting witnessed the presence of the Chief Medical Officer Kulgam, Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kulgam, and other members of the RKS/HDF Committee.

Hon’ble MLA Shri Tarigami lauded the dedicated efforts of the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Chief Medical Officer, and the Medical Superintendent for bringing notable improvements in the hospital's healthcare facilities within a short span of three months. He appreciated the timely procurement of advanced medical equipment and the upgradation of infrastructure that have contributed to better patient care.

Highlighting the need for further enhancement of healthcare services, the Hon’ble MLA emphasized engaging outsourced Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) along with skilled and unskilled manpower to ensure the smooth functioning of the hospital.

The installation of CCTV cameras across the hospital premises was also discussed in detail. The committee stressed the importance of enhancing security and maintaining discipline through comprehensive surveillance coverage.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chair and a collective commitment to continue efforts toward strengthening healthcare services and improving patient satisfaction at District Hospital Kulgam.
