SHO Kulgam, Tehsildar Arrange Free Transport for Non-Locals Amid Heavy Rain and Snow

In a compassionate gesture, SHO Kulgam Subzar Ahmad and Tehsildar Kulgam Bilal Ahmad provided free transportation to non-locals who were living in temporary tents near Veshaw Nallah, Kulgam. Amid heavy rainfall and snowfall, the residents felt unsafe, prompting authorities to take swift action on humanitarian grounds.

Demonstrating their commitment to public welfare, SHO Kulgam and Tehsildar Kulgam personally paid the transportation charges to a truck driver to facilitate the relocation of these individuals from Kulgam to Banihal, as they wished to return home. Their timely intervention ensured the non-local residents could move to a safer location.

Grateful for the support, the affected individuals extended their heartfelt thanks to Kulgam Police and the District Administration. This initiative highlights the dedication of local authorities to ensuring the safety and well-being of all, especially during challenging weather conditions.
