Free Hearing Aid Distribution Held Under RBSK at District Hospital Kulgam

Kulgam, April 17

In a move to promote inclusive healthcare, a free hearing aid distribution camp was organized under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) at District Hospital Kulgam. The event was conducted under the supervision of Medical Superintendent Dr. A.G. Raina and organized by the District Early Intervention Center (DEIC).

District Development Commissioner Kulgam, Mr. Athar Aamir Khan (IAS), graced the occasion as the chief guest and personally distributed hearing aids to children identified with hearing impairments through RBSK screenings.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from children and their families. The distribution of hearing aids aims to support children with hearing difficulties, enabling better communication and improved educational outcomes.

This initiative highlights the district administration’s ongoing commitment to child health and ensuring equitable access to essential healthcare services for all.
