Justice Arun Palli Sworn In as J&K Chief Justice

Justice Arun Palli was sworn in as Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Courts. He was administered the oath of office at a formal ceremony at the Raj Bhavan in Jammu on Monday. He was sworn in by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

Other High Court judges, top government officials of the state administration, senior lawyers and members of all ranks of the judiciary attended the oath-taking ceremony. The whole ceremony was conducted in a highly dignified and solemn environment.

Justice Arun Palli has been a judge in the Punjab and Haryana High Courts for a long period of time. He is highly respected in the judiciary for his dedication to the law, experience and unbiased judgments. He was chosen as the Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Courts for his contribution and experience to the judiciary.

Most people think that Justice Palli's assumption of office has brought a new dawn to the judiciary of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. Because both these places are geographically and politically sensitive, ensuring a just trial is quite a challenge.
