Major Fire Breaks Out at Shah-i-Hamdan Darul Uloom in Tral; One Student Charred to Death, Several Injured

Pulwama, April 06: A devastating fire broke out at the Shah-i-Hamdan Darul Uloom in the Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, resulting in the tragic death of one student and leaving several others injured.

The fire, which erupted late last night, caused panic among students and staff members. Fire and emergency services swiftly responded to the scene and managed to control the blaze, preventing further damage.


Initial reports confirmed that a 12-year-old student, Yasir Ahmad, son of Bashir Ahmad, a resident of Karmulla Tral, tragically lost his life in the fire. Three other students sustained injuries and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.


The incharge of Shah-i-Hamdan Darul Uloom confirmed the fatality and the injuries, expressing deep sorrow over the incident. The injured students are currently undergoing treatment, with their conditions not yet disclosed.
