As far as the minimum temperature is concerned, summer capital Srinagar recorded 9.6 degrees Celsius, whereas winter capital Jammu logged 23.4 degrees as the minimum temperature.
After witnessing weeks of
bright and warm sunshine, J&K is now receiving a canopy of dark clouds and
wet spells. The MeT department has forecasted that the Union Territory may
receive widespread light to moderate rainfall in the next 24 hours.
“Widespread
light/moderate rain is likely to occur in J&K during the next 24
hours", said the MeT official.
