As Aryan Khan gets clean chit, here are 4 controversial allegations hurled at Sameer Wankhede

After Bollywood Star Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was given a clean in a drugs case, the former director of the Mumbai zone of the Narcotics Control Bureau Sameer Wankhade is once again under the spotlight. Now that junior Khan has got a clean chit, the government has ordered action against Sameer Wankhade, who had arrested Aryan though the latter had no drugs on him.

Bu this the not the only time Wankhede was seen immersed in controversy. He had several stints with hullaballoo. During the probe into the drug case, Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik made several allegations about Wankhede's private and professional life. So here are some explosive claims about the former NCB director.

Forged SC certificate: Nawab Malik alleged Sameer Wankhede illegitimately got the post reserved for scheduled caste as he submitted a forged caste certificate.

Faked religion:  Another allegation tossed at the former NCB director was that he had also faked his religion. The Maharashtra minister posted photographs of Sameer Wankhede's first wedding with Shabana Quraishi and claimed that he was Muslim.

Fake raids for extortion: He was also accused of carrying out fake raids by employing fake witnesses to extort money. 

Owner of a bar:  Another allegation brought up against Wankhade was that he is the owner of a bar in Navi Mumbai. It was also claimed that he acquired the license for the bar when he was only 17 years old.
