IAS couple, Sanjeev Khirwar and Rinku Dugga received a massive backlash for reportedly using the government-run stadium to walk their dog. It was also reported that during the walks, athletes were not allowed to use the stadium. When the matter came to notice, the centre ordered the transfer of the bureaucrat husband and his wife to Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh respectively.

But after the transfers, netizens, rather than focusing on the IAS couple, shed the spotlight on the dog who was seen also seen treading the stadium. social media was flooded with questions “what will happen to the dog?”.

When netizens came to know about Khirwar has been transferred to Ladakh and his wife to Arunachal, Twitter immediately swelled with queries about the fate of the dog. “Where will the dog go?”, “Is the dog destined to go to Ladakh or Arunachal”, and “Who will take it on a Walk?” were some questions raised on social media.

Meanwhile, Trinamool Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra took a dig at the ministry of home affairs for transferring the IAS officer Rinku Dugga to Arunachal. She said that the ministry cannot use Arunachal as a ‘dump for their rubbish’.

“Why shame Arunachal by transferring errant Delhi bureaucrat there? Why pay lip service to North East & then treat the area as a dump for your rubbish, MHA?” She tweeted.
