Hajj 2022 about to commence! First flight from Srinagar airport will take off on June 5

Hajj pilgrimage is all set to begin, and the first flight of Hajj-2022 from the Jammu and Kashmir will take off from Srinagar International Airport on June 5.

Member Hajj Committee of India (HCI) Er Aijaz Hussain confirmed the news on Friday and said the confirmed the news.

“First Hajj-2022 flight from J&K will take off from Srinagar airport on June 5,” Aijaz Hussain said. 

While announcing the commencement of Hajj-2022, he also asked the aspirants to buckle up and pack their bags for the holy Hajj.

This year, around one million Muslims are expected to embark on the holy pilgrimage. The Hajj authorities have also urged the pilgrims to adhere to the Covid-19 SoPs.   

As far as India is concerned, almost 83000 Muslims will be performing the Hajj. Whereas, 7000 Muslims from the J&K will embark on a holy journey to Mecca-Medina. 

The Hajj Committee of India is also in high momentum to provide all the possible facilities to the pilgrims.
