On Tuesday the Kashmir valley witnessed another target killing when a female Hindu teacher was shot dead by militants in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
As per the police spokesperson, militants A police spokesman said that militants open fire on the woman teacher at High School Gopalpora in Kulgam district.
“In this terror incident, she has received critical gunshot injuries. [She is] Being shifted to [a] hospital. The area has been cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” the Police spokesperson tweeted.

The killing came just a few days after TV artist Ambreen Bhat was shot dead in the Budgam district of central Kashmir.
