Union home minister Amit Sha will meet the family of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala at Hotel JW Marriott in Chandigarh at 5 pm.
Amit Shah is on a visit to Chandigarh to inaugurate Khelo India Games. He is also slated to chair a meeting of the Punjab BJP leaders.
A few days ago, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat visited the residence of Sidhu Moosewala to express his condolences, the singer’s parents had requested a meeting with Amit Shah to press their demand for a probe into the killing of their son.
Also on Thursday, the father of Sidhu Moosewala wrote a to Amit Shah in which he urged the central agency to probe into the murder.
