In Maisuma, ten people were arrested for 'Sloganeering, Stone Pelting.'

"10 suspects apprehended so far in anti-national sloganeering & stone pelting outside home of Yasin Malik prior to sentencing in Maisuma yesterday," District Police Srinagar posted on Twitter. Other than that, everything was quiet."

"Youths are once again urged not to engage in actions that could jeopardise their careers and disrupt their families," the post continued.

"Others are being identified & will be detained soon," the police added in a subsequent tweet. The case has been filed under the ULPA and the IPC. The primary perpetrators of this hooliganism will face charges under the PSA. Anti-national activities and provocative postures will be dealt with harshly and with the full power of the law."
