The son of a former Congress minister was charged for allegedly hitting the car of an Indore-based businessman Dinesh Ahuja in Sehore in Madhya Pradesh, and then kicking off a fight with him, a police official said on Monday.

Rohitap Singh, son of Hukuma Karada of Shajapur, a former Congress minister seemingly under the influence of alcohol, rammed the SUV and later started a fight with the Dinesh. The incident was captured on camera as well.

As per the police official, the incident occurred on Saturday night when trader Dinesh Ahuja and his friends were going to Indore from Bhopal. When Rohitap Singh hit the car, Ahuja and his associates objected and asked him to pay for the damages. But Rohitap, being in an inebriated state, refused to pay and started a fight with them. Congress leader’s son also smashed their car windows.

Ashta police station in-charge Anil Yadav said that a case has been filed against an unidentified person based on the vehicle registration number.
