Indian Premier League final match slated for Sunday will witness debutants Gujarat Titans locking horns with Rajasthan Royals. Both the teams will be filled with optimism after having a successful run in the season.

It was fourteen years ago when legendary leg spinner Shane Warne led Rajasthan Royals to the trophy in the inaugural season.

"Shane Warne... is such an influential figure for the Rajasthan Royals and having led the team to success in that first season. We will miss him dearly, but we know he is looking down on us with a lot of pride, " said star batsman Jos Buttler.

On the other hand, Gujarat led by Hardik Pandya has established itself as a strong team. It has topped the league table and stormed into the final when it beat Rajasthan by seven wickets in the first play-off.

"It's going to be a tough challenge," Rajasthan head coach Kumar Sangakkara said of the looming showdown.

"(Pandya) is an exceptional player. He has led his side well," he added.
