Responding to the Jubille Hill rape- case, Telangana Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali described the rape as a ‘ghastly incident’ and assured that, irrespective of their background, strong action will be taken against the offenders.
The response came after IT Minister KT Rama Rao in a tweet asked for immediate and stern action.
The Home Minister confirmed that the DGP and the Hyderabad City Police Commissioner are already on their toes to arrest all the suspects as soon as possible. Mahmood Ali has directed them to take strong action as per law.

“The police have identified the culprits as per CCTV footage and the statement of the victim. The Hyderabad rape victim could not reveal anything about the culprits. She only revealed one name and special teams were immediately formed to nab them. CCTV footage has been recovered. We have identified five culprits as per CCTV footage and as per the statement of the victim,"Joel Davis said.
