Top-notch Maoist leader Sandip Yadav wanted by police in six states was found dead in mysterious circumstances in Bihar’s Gaya district on Wednesday.
He was wanted in the states, including Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, and Andra Pradesh, for his alleged involvement in over 500 cases related to Maoist activities. He was carrying a reward of Rs 84 lakhs announced by different state governments.
His death was confirmed by the police on Thursday. Yadav’s body was of Yadav was found outside Baburam Dih village under Banke Bazar police station limit in the Naxal-infested Gaya district. His body was identified by his son.

The initial investigation showed that Yadav was battling some serious ailment. Whereas locals claimed that there were serious injury marks on his face, arms, and legs.
