The Chief Minister, speaking at an event at the Kerala State Library council meeting in Kannur on June 13, stated that in Kerala, a segment of the people had earned the freedom to hide their breasts and the right to walk through various fights 

"There is an effort to promote a heated narrative that there is an effort to restrict the right to walk freely and to wear black masks and garments," Mr. Vijayan said of the state, which has a long history of battles

He promised that a circumstance in which a group of people is unable to stroll freely will never happen again in this state.

There may be certain forces in society with old ways of thinking and expectations ofwhat will happen here.  

However, he argued, a state like Kerala will neither allow or accept this.

The Chief Minister went on to say that the Left was in the forefront of the state's accomplishments. 

The Left Government will work with the people in every manner possible to maintain our state's uniqueness, and the government is dedicated to doing so, he said, adding that action will be done against forces that spread false information.
