PM Modi’s 2-day Karnataka visit: PM will inaugurate railway and road projects worth Rs 27,000 crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to arrive in Karnataka today for a two-day visit and will lay the foundation stone for railway and road projects worth Rs 27,000 crore.


To smoothen the traffic movement, the PM will lay the foundation stone of the Bengaluru Suburban rail project (BSRP). This project aims to connect Bengaluru to other suburban areas.


The PM will arrive in Bengaluru at around 12;30 PM on Monday. He will also inaugurate the Centre for Brain Research (CBR) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) today. the foundation stone of Bagchi-Parthasarathy Multispeciality Hospital will also be laid by the PM.


The two-day visit will also incorporate PM Modi inaugurating the new campus of Dr. B R Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE), Bengaluru.


Tomorrow, on June 21, the PM will head for the Mysuru where he will mark his presence in a Mass Yoga Demonstration at Mysore Palace ground. The PM is also slated to attend a public function at Maharaja's College Ground in Mysuru. There, the foundation stone of the coaching terminal at Naganahalli Railway Station will be laid by PM Modi.
