Due to the solar eclipse, the temple committee has decided to keep the doors of the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath temple closed today. The Chief Administrative Officer of the Shri Kedarnath-Badrinath Temple Committee noted that the pujas will be held in the evening following the eclipse.

The Shri Kedarnath-Badrinath Temple Committee's administrative officer was added. On Friday, prayers were said at the Badrinath temple by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prime Minister was joined at the shrine by Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmeet Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

The eclipse will start in the late afternoon before sunset and be visible in most places. The final solar eclipse of the year will be the Surya Grahan partial eclipse on October 25. Large portions of western and central Asia, Northern Africa, and parts of Europe will all be able to see the eclipse. Except for some areas in the Northeast, the majority of India should be able to see the solar eclipse.

Due to the partial solar eclipse, the doors to the Prayagraj temple will also be closed.

On Tuesday, the temple doors will be closed due to the partial solar eclipse. The temples were shut since the Sutak period didn't begin until 4:20 a.m. The ceremonial worship programmes are thought to halt in such a circumstance. At the Sangam's banks, worshippers could be seen meditating and chanting in the background.

It is not advised to look at the eclipsed sun with your naked eye, even for a little period. Even if the sun is mostly blocked by the moon, it will still result in permanent eye damage and blindness.
