"HOTEL PRICES SKYROCKET ON INDIA-PAKISTAN MATCH DAY: DEMAND SURGES AS FANS GEAR UP FOR EPIC SHOWDOWN!"

ICC's Announcement of fixing for the ODI World Cup on Tuesday has raised hotel room rates to Skyrocket as much as Rs 1 lakh in Gujarat City for the match day.

This exceptional demand has caused the normal day room rent of an average of Rs. 8,000/- to go up to Rs. 40,000/-  in luxury hotels and even up to Rs. 1 lakh at some places for October 15th.i.e. for  Welcome Hotel by ITC Hotel prices of  Rs 71999/-

Renaissance Ahmedabad Hotel surge Rs. 90679/-

And so many more are there.

Officials of the Gujarat Hotel and Restaurant Association (HRA) told the news agency that the price hike is a result of bookings done mostly by Non-resident Indians & Fans living in other states. Once the demand drops, the prices will come down.
