West Indies beat India by two wickets in the second T20 International to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series on Sunday. Opting to bat first, India scored 152 for seven. West Indies completed the chase of 153 with seven balls to spare, as Nicholas Pooran blazed his way to a match-winning 67 off 40 balls.

Mukesh to bowl the second-last over of the game. Hosein could only manage a single off the first ball of the over. Mukesh to Joseph, SIX! Pulled away over deep mid-wicket to change the course of the game. Just five needed off 10 now! He manages a single to give the strike to Hosein, who takes a double. 2 off 8 now. Mukesh to Hosein, FOUR! Clears the long-off region and finishes the chase off in some style.

Arshdeep Singh comes back in attack, to bowl his last over. Arshdeep to Hosein, FOUR! Clever batting by Hosein to guide the fuller ball past point to start the over with a boundary. 17 off 17 now! He takes a single in the next ball. Joseph clears the mid-off for a quick double after playing out a dot. He takes a single in the following delivery. 13 needed off 13 now. Hosein keeps the strike with a single.

Yuzvendra Chahal with his third over. Chahal to Hetmyer, RUN OUT! Shepherd gets out on diamond duck, without scoring and facing any balls. He was sent back by Hetmyer who took a quick single while he was halfway down the pitch. India feels they are back with two quick wickets. Chahal to Holder, OUT! Stumped!

Ravi Bishnoi with his last over. Bishnoi to Hetmyer, CLOSE! hits him on pads, a huge appeal for LBW which was denied by the on-field umpire. India goes for DRS but the ball was pitching outside off-stumps which saves Hetmyer. He could only manage a single off the last ball as Bishnoi gave just a single from his last over of the innings.

The T20I series is of little consequence in an ODI World Cup year, but skipper Hardik Pandya and his deputy Suryakumar Yadav would expect to put on a far-improved batting show, both individually and collectively.

The duo along with Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill and Sanju Samson are all looking at the ODI World Cup but no one would mind a few good knocks which will give them some confidence ahead of the Asia Cup.

A boundary was the difference between the two teams in the opening game in Tarouba, where the West Indies prevailed on a slow batting track with an impressive bowling effort at the back end.
