The president of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, was hospitalised in the Medanta Hospital due to a urinary infection and overall weakness.
"He was brought from Ayodhya and admitted to the hospital on Friday. On Saturday his condition was stable and satisfactory," according to a medical bulletin citing hospital medical director Rakesh Kapoor.
He stated that a urology team and critical care specialists are currently closely monitoring him.
