A total of 266 Indians, who were trapped in cybercrime centers in Southeast Asia, have been safely brought back to India. They were promised good jobs abroad but were forced into illegal online activities like scams and fraud.

The rescue operation was carried out by Indian law enforcement with help from authorities in Southeast Asia. The victims were held in poor conditions and mistreated while being forced to work for cybercrime groups.

The Indian government arranged special flights to bring the victims back home, making sure they received medical care and counseling when they arrived. The Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that all 266 individuals were safely reunited with their families.

This case highlights the growing issue of cybercrime and human trafficking, especially in Southeast Asia. Indian authorities are advising people to be careful about job offers abroad and to fully check any opportunities before agreeing to them.

The families of the victims are relieved and thankful, as many feared their loved ones were lost to these criminal groups. Authorities are continuing their investigations to break up the cybercrime networks involved.

This successful repatriation shows the importance of being cautious about online fraud and the need for better international cooperation to stop these crimes.
