A new chapter in youth football history: 9 year old Indian-origin footballer Urban Negi has earned a place at a European club. He has signed with the youth academy of English Premier League side Everton FC, set to join their U-9 squad a development that has thrilled the Indian football community.
Football has been Negi’s passion since childhood. By the age of seven, he had already made waves at Dynamo Youth FC in South London. His dribbling, skill, and exceptional ball control made him stand out, ultimately opening the doors to Everton’s renowned Finch Farm Academy, which has produced stars like Wayne Rooney and Anthony Gordon.
