Radiant bridal skin is rarely the result of last-minute facials or trending DIY hacks, says aesthetician and cosmetologist Sreeja Shreshtha, who recently shared the disciplined routine she followed for an entire year before her wedding. In a video posted on Instagram, Sreeja explained that her glowing, camera-ready complexion was built on daily habits rather than quick fixes. Nearly a year after her wedding, she says she continues to follow the same practices, emphasising that her goal was never to look good for just one day but to feel confident in her skin long term.
Sreeja began each morning with a simple ritual: three strands of saffron and five black raisins soaked overnight in a glass of water. She consumed the soaked raisins and drank the water first thing in the morning, describing it as a practice that supported hormonal balance and menstrual health while contributing to a natural inner glow. She noted that consistency made the real difference, adding that she began noticing visible and physical changes after about two months.
In addition to dietary habits, she incorporated collagen supplements into her routine, particularly during high-stress periods when sleep was irregular. According to Sreeja, collagen helped maintain skin hydration and suppleness from within, reducing dullness and supporting elasticity.
Her skincare regimen also included professionally formulated brightening masks used twice a week. Among her preferred products were the Axis-Y Gel Resolution Mask, the Axis-Y Glow Peel for gentle exfoliation every two weeks, the Klairs Turmeric Mask, and the Mary & May Rose Hyaluronic Mask. She avoided homemade mixtures, opting instead for clinically tested formulations.
Sreeja’s approach highlights that sustainable beauty stems from patience, internal nourishment and mindful skincare rather than dramatic treatments. She maintains that small, intentional habits practised consistently over time create visible and lasting results.
