Popular rapper and music composer Badshah has opened up about his impulsive purchase of a luxury Rolls-Royce Cullinan, revealing that the excitement of buying the ₹12 crore car lasted for only a few minutes. In a candid interview with Curly Tales, the artist spoke honestly about his love for high-end luxury items and the emotional rush that often comes with such big-ticket purchases.
Badshah, who is known for his lavish lifestyle, owns a collection of luxury cars, premium watches, limited-edition sneakers, and designer jackets. Talking specifically about the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II, one of the most expensive SUVs in the world, he admitted that the decision to buy the car was taken on impulse.
“I decided very quickly that I would buy it that day. It was a Badshah wali feeling,” he said. While calling the Cullinan a great car, the rapper also reflected on how short-lived the thrill was. “The high of buying the car lasted for just 10 to 15 minutes. After that, you start thinking, what next?” he added, highlighting how even the most expensive purchases may not bring lasting happiness.
Badshah made headlines last year when he became one of the few Indians to own the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Other notable Indian owners of the luxury SUV include billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, placing Badshah among an elite group of high-profile car collectors.
In the same interview, Badshah explained his mindset behind buying premium and limited-edition items. He shared that he is drawn to owning the best in technology and luxury. “I like to have whatever is considered the best. When people say something is the best car or the best gadget, I want to experience it,” he said.
While his confession sheds light on the glamorous side of celebrity life, it also offers a rare glimpse into the emotional reality behind impulsive luxury spending, where excitement can be intense, but fleeting.
