A battle between the two great powers of cricket is about to unfold where India will hope to settle scores for the loss suffered during the 2017 finals of the Champions Trophy while Pakistan will try to uphold its title defense.

The stain of defeat at the hands of Pakistan during the 2017 Champions Trophy final is still fresh in India's mind. Its players with cool heads and calm hearts now have a chance to avenge the loss. This time, Team India led by Rohit Sharma is in tremendous form. The team's batting may be able to put up a challenge to its adversaries. With the likes of Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Suryakumar Yadav all in good form, the future for Pakistan does not bode well.

On the other side, Babar Azam's Pakistan is geared up for a fight. Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah are the mainstays of their bowling attack and could be big threats to the Indian batting order. Apart from that, the form of Babar, Mohammad Rizwan, and Fakhar Zaman gives Pakistan confidence in their proceedings.

This match is like an emotional roller-coaster for millions of fans and more than just a face-off between two teams. If history can be their guide, it's an India-Pakistan clash that has always shown its thrills and oodles of drama. This time it is expected to be no different.
