Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone recently posted a funny clip from Paris, which has been well-received by her fans. In the clip, she is riding a scooty around Paris's streets while uttering a few words of French. The clip previews her downtime before the Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week.
Deepika is heard at the start of the video confidently stating, "I was very good in French. I studied French in class 11 and 12 and did really well." She makes a tongue-in-cheek comment that it's not all 'le' and 'la'. She then says, "Le monde est à nous" which translates to "the world is ours". She also says hello in French, "Bonjour. Je m'appelle Deepika. Je suis Indienne." That is, "Hello. I am Deepika. I am Indian."
Deepika is also spotted on a scooty in the video, looking cheerful amidst the colorful setting of Paris. Besides walking around the city, she is also photographed coming back to her hotel. Her attire is also catching attention—she is stylish in an oversized white blazer, hat of similar color, black leggings and black leather gloves. Her dark red lipstick only made her look more radiant.
Not only does the video bring out her sense of style, but also her bubbly nature and affection for the French language. Deepika, speaking about her school days, mentioned that she was fascinated with the French language ever since. In one segment of the video, she even practices her accent with an attempt to get it perfect, something which brings out her perfectionist personality.
Deepika had posted some gorgeous photos from Paris Fashion Week on social media earlier. Particularly the photo of her standing in front of the Eiffel Tower was talked about a lot. She captioned that post with #LVFW25. Deepika's dazzling presence was not missed by her husband Ranveer Singh either. He joked, "Lord, have mercy on me."
On the professional front, Deepika recently featured in a special role in Rohit Shetty's "Singham Again." It also features Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar and Arjun Kapoor.
On the personal front, Deepika and Ranveer had their first child in September 2024. Deepika Padukone is having a busy time professionally and personally and this Paris diary of hers has turned out to be an added bonus for her fans.
